SuperMonkey Level 2: Foundations.

The L2 course follows on from the L1 screening course – Born2Move.

In L2 we develop skills which take you beyond identifying fundamental movement restrictions and deeper into functional re-training strategies.

Our system, which has produced Olympic champions, has its roots in the ‘Triad Doctrine’ following a sequential pathway of Mobility – Stability – Strength as the key to producing a functional body in balance.

In L2 you will begin developing coaching skills for upper / trunk / lower kinetic segments and how to achieve functional integration of these through the ‘Triad’ via specific key exercise techniques and movement pathways.

Starting with low-threshold activation and building to compound strength exercises, by the end of the course you will be skilled in the use of Power Bands, TRX, Kettlebells, Groundwork, Callisthenics and other functional strategies. You will be taught the correct coaching of these techniques to effectively and safely develop your clients’ physical literacy.

NB: This course is a practical movement course, you will be moving and learning to move. Please wear close fitting garments like training T, leggings, trackies or shorts.
