Movement Screening

We offer movement screening to enable you to understand your movement better and to train smarter. The movement screen can reveal aspects of your physicality that, once understood and addressed, can unlock your progress and help you achieve your goals. Movement screening is ideal if you are ready to embark on a fitness programme or return to one after lockdown! You might notice that when you exercise you are thwarted by a repeating niggle or injury you have been trying to shake for years.  We can help you to eliminate the ongoing pain that’s holding you back from achieving or maintaining your exercise goals. You might have had lots of other treatments and tried taping, stretching, strengthening etc. Let us help you get to the root of it.

Attend our gym for your screening and analysis sessions or **NEW** you can now have your movement screen online so can access it from anywhere in the world!

Movement screening identifies areas of restriction or dysfunction which may inhibit progress or be implicated in injury. We call this ‘Weak Point Identification’. Results of your screen will shine a light on how you move and how your body is currently balanced. This can then help you to apply corrective strategies to address these issues and support your athletic development appropriate to your goals.

Personal Training

We offer personal training whether you are an experienced athlete or coming to training for the first time. Our personal training sessions are suitable for people from all walks of life and experiences. We have trained runners, sailors, swimmers, dancers and gymnasts as well as military personnel, professional sportspeople and olympic athletes. BUT you don’t have to be a professional athlete to train with us – our personal training and movement coaching sessions are for anyone looking for a safe, inspiring and effective way to get fitter, move better and stay injury free.

For athletes we have a 3 phases of Athletic development programmes:

  • Junior Athlete (9 years to 16  years)
  • Senior Athlete (16 years to 30 years)
  • Mature Athlete (30 years and above)

All 1:1 programmes include elements of movement screening in order to identify areas of restriction or dysfunction which may inhibit progress or be implicated in injury. We call this ‘Weak Point Identification’. Following on, your programme incorporates your corrective strategies to address these issues as it moves you through your athletic development appropriate to your goals.
